The reset initialisation button or option is to be used when you accidentally registered under some other quota and want to change your quota of counselling.

If you accidentally filled some other quota of counselling like you wanted AIQ but registered for DU quota and want to change you can use the button.

And in such case you will not have to repay again the registration fee.
