Yes questions are mostly from ncert , I have also given neet , I read only Ncert biology and scored 302 marks in biology alone  but yes you will have to practice mcqs a lot .
Every year hardly 10 to 15 questions are out of ncert but yes you should remember each and every line of ncert to get 300 + marks.
