A Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) course in India is basically a 4 years program that is divided into 8 semesters of six months each, followed by a 6-month compulsory internship.

Generally, the exams occur at the conclusion of every semester. These exams are composed of theory and practical-based question papers.

The core of the first two semesters is made up of basic subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Biomechanics, and Exercise Therapy. After completing the eight semesters, students are asked to undergo a 6-month hospital internship or rehabilitation centers, evaluated, and a degree completion clearance is needed.
