In seat allotment letter in jee mains counseling, it shows tution fees waiver yes in sub category and in seat alloted category:open it is tution fee waiver or not???

Hello Aspirant,

If you are taking admission in NITs/IITs then surely you can avail fee remission in two ways through category reservation and through family income.

If you are from open category then you can avail fee remission by submitting family income certificate. If your family income is between 1-5L then 2/3 Rd of tuition fee is remitted and if it is less than 1L then full fee is remitted of the tuition fee.
