Hello,

The GRE General test comprises 3 sections namely Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Analytical Writing.

All three sections are compulsory and therefore you cannot select any specifc subject for the analytical section as it is part of the GRE General test.

If you do want to take a subject based specialized test, then there are GRE Subject Tests available for

  • Physics
  • Mathematics
  • Chemistry
  • Literature in English
  • Biology
  • Psychology

The GRE General test is required for admission to most postgraduate programs abroad but some programs also require additional subject test scores for admission. @page { margin: 2cm } p { margin-bottom: 0.25cm; line-height: 120% } a:link { so-language: zxx } @page { margin: 2cm } p { margin-bottom: 0.25cm; line-height: 120% } a:link { so-language: zxx }
