see iits nits msc program is research based and after clearing the 2 years duration course students go for post doctoral research or phd program, now if you are lucky you may get some research fellowship in iits or nits, but mostly for msc course there is less placement in both iits and nits., however for msc in mathematics candidates, if you are good at coding or data analytics you may get job in mncs with a handsome salary package.
