Reservation benefits under EWS can be availed upon production of an Income and Asset Certificate issued by a Competent Authority.

A minimum of 55% aggregate marks in a master’s degree or an equivalent examination is needed to appear in UGC NET exam.

Ph. D. has become mandatory for direct recruitment of assistant professors in university from 1 ^st July 2021. But for colleges, UGC NET is still the minimum eligibility criteria for assistant professorship.
