See, if you want to get a high paying job, I'll advise you to take up either CSE or IT, as these have 60 to 70 percent of their syllabus similar. The main difference between them is that IT is more computer hardware oriented and more concepts of networking etc is taught in this, but it is almost equivalent to CSE.

If you have genuine interest in semiconductors, only then go for ECE. Most of the companies which come for CSE also allow ECE as both of these are circuital branches, so your placement will be secured here too.
