Hello Aspirant ,

Two or  three years ago when there was no Covid 19 and classes used to be in the offline mode , most of the colleges in India used to start their new academic session in the first week of August but since Covid most of the exams get delayed and there is no offline classes ,new academic sessions are starting around the first week of October and that too mostly in online mode.

The starting of academic sessions depends on college to college and also on the current situation of Covid there.
