see pay scale depends on certain factors like years of experience, type of the organization, nature of work etc. tier 1 companies like siemens, rashmi metallics, tata steel pays initially around 25k to 30k for freshers as a maintenance engineer.

same goes for mechanical engineering graduates. however in pharmacy , if you want to work as a pharmacist or chief scientific officer , you have to do master of pharmacy course , after m.pharma completion salary generally ranges from 30k to 50k or more.

however you have to decide first which course interest you most, a person can make a decent career from any field if he/ she has immense interest and hardworking for it.
