Without engineering you can not imagine all the facilities and growth that is going on.

Talking about jobs ; yes there are a number of jobs but you have skills and knowledge that helps to get the job because for a job number of candidates are many .( Means number of graduates are more than the number of jobs.)

And you can opt any course ; but you should be interested in that and do your best in that field you will definitely get a secure job.( All depends upon your skills and knowledge and talent ).

All the branches have their specific pros and cons so it is better advised to choose the branch only on the basis of your interest. It is a technical course for which curiosity related to technology is needed. If that is in you then you can excel as an engineer.
