Insect pollinated flowers usually posses sticky and heavy pollens to stick on rough surface. The flowers have attractive colours and sweet smell. It help them to attract insects and butterflies. This makes possible pollination from flower to flower

Insect pollinated flowers usually possess sticky and heavy pollens having rough surface which allows them to stick to insects easily. These pollens are present in small quantities. Insects travels from flower to flower because they have sweet nectar and bright color and carry pollens to pollinate them.
