Is 10th class marks required for SASTRA entrance

Sastra  deemed University will offer admission in 2019 under the following two streams: Through stream 1: Admissions to 70% of the seats will be made through stream 1 on the basis of JEE Main scores and normalized scores of the 10+2 or equivalent exam.

Hello Student,

No, 10th class marks are not required for the entrance. The eligibility for entrance related to qualifying exam are as follows:-

  • Candidates must have passed class XII or equivalent qualifying examination from any of the recognized boards.
  • Candidates must have passed the examination with Mathematics & Physics as compulsory subjects and any one of the following as the third subject - Chemistry/ Bio‐Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology.
  • Candidates must have secured minimum 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/ Bio‐Technology / Computer Science/ Biology in aggregate in a single sitting.
