I hope that you are doing well. Congratulations it's a nice score . Yes , you have a great probability to get government bds seat in state quota with 542 marks.

But the cutoff  marks change year to year and vary for different states. If in case you didn't get government seat then you must try for semi government seat.

Although getting mbbs seat depends upon various factors like number of students appeared in the exam, difficulty level of exam, AIQ rank, category, region, state, state rank,etc. But You can try for semi government seat or private seat.
