There is no minimum percentage requirement to appear for JEE Main. A candidate who has passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board is eligible to appear for JEE Main. To get admission in to NIT/IIIT/GFTI he/she has to score minimum 75% aggregate in qualifying examination that is 10+2 or its equivalent for candidates belonging to general category. For candidates belonging to SC/ST category it is minimum 65% aggregate marks. But for year 2020 and 2021 the minimum percentage requirement is relaxed due to Corona Pandemic. As of now there is no official information if it will be applicable for admission in the year 2022. It will be announced once the notification for JEE Main 2022 is released.
For candidates belonging to SC category the minimum percentage requirement is 65% in all subjects taken together.
