Hello kavya,

According to your percentile, the expected rank will be 178500 or more.

According to previous years data, you are in safe zone since almost 2 lacks students appear for the jee advance exam.

You can check your rank and the college by visiting our required link.

Hey Kavya,

It is difficult to predict your exact qualifying marks & rank as first time JEE is being conducted twice and rank will be based on NTA percentile score.

You may use this formula to calculate your expected rank-

874469 are the number of candidates appeared for the January exam. So rank formula is (100- your total score) * 874469 / 100.

If the number of candidates for April exam increased to 1400000 then your final rank shall be (100- your total score) * 1400000/100.

Being in the top 70 percentile shall surely get a you a chance to appear in the JEE Advanced, but if that will actually get you a good college solely based on the Mains rank is doubted since the ranks alloted in the Mains are not simply based on your marks or percentile but also on other factors such as your caste, and marks scored by you in different particular subjects etc

Hope it helps! Comment Down if you have any other queries... Goodluck!
