Hi Pratishtha.
Yes, 99.54 percentile is very good in JEE Mains. With this percentile, you can exepct an All India Rank under 4000, which is great as you will be able to get admission into the top NITs and their top branches too. This rank by the way was calculated using the formula (100-99.54)*869010/100. You rank will increase if the amount of students giving Mains increase in April. Still, you have nothing to worry about.
Congrats and all the best for JEE Advanced.
Dear Aspirant
Your score is too good for getting a reputed national institute of technology.
A formula is given by National Testing Agency to calculate rank in Jee mains session .The formula is No of Candidates appeared in exam/100*(100- Nta score ).
So the no of candidates in January session was around 869010 .
So your rank will be 3997
But if the no of candidates changes to 120000 in April session then your rank can vary.
As your rank is in 5000 so you can get a good nit and core branch also .Try your best for Jee advanced and score good marks.
Thanks
All the very best
