You can opt for  BSC with Statistics if you are very keen on pursuing Data Science as a career.

At the same time I would recommend take up few classes on:

Programming

Basics of Databases Management

Data mining,

Data structures

Advance ways to represent data sets -Visualization techniques.

This will help you master the core of Data Science -Stats and also groom you in other skills that are required to be a good Data Scientist.
