Definitely. If you have the opportunity and the inclination.. Go for it. It will first and foremost give you an edge over other colleagues or fellow students if you are a fresh graduate. So you become more employable as well as get a higher salary ! Who doesn't love a little extra travelling or maybe some more shopping right ;)
It also allows you to gain more knowledge in an area that interests you- In the professional level, you get to choose 2 papers out of 4 professional papers which are Advanced financial management, adv. Performance management, adv. Taxation and Adv. Audit and assurance. I like this feature Bcoz it did not force me to study a whole lot of things but rather choose my areas.
Another benefit is after you complete ACCA, you can do so many more qualifications like CIMA or ACA and more by writing just 2-3 papers as you will be exempted from the rest.
It's a great way to broaden you financial knowledge and chances of getting into major firms like Deloitte, KPMG, Grant Thornton and so on with opportunities to travel and work in a variety if countries simply because of how widely recognized the qualification is.
However, I should mention that it doesn't come easy and it doesn't come cheap. Start it with the intention to finish
