Scope of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) in India

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) is one of the best courses in aviation sector. AME is three year license program regulated by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Govt. of India. Thescope of AMEis very good in Indian as well as Foreign airlines. As we know that India is the fastest growing aviation market after US and China. India placed an order of 1080 new aircraft so, the demand of AME in future increases. And this order is delivered in next year.

Each and every aircraft needs a regular maintenance and this maintenance is done by AME. Before a flight takeoff, there is a regular maintenance of an aircraft to check the flight is fit to fly or not. AME is responsible for the safety, security and maintenance of an aircraft. An AME is authorized to issue the Flight Releasing Certificate (FRC). Approx.50 AMEs is required to maintain an aircraft.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test (AME CET 2018) is a national level common entrance test to get admission in AME INSTITUTIONS.
