No , this examination is not fake at all whereas it is an authentic examination.As in NTA application they suggest themself to go for this examination .I think that kind of big organisation will not support any fake organisation . 

On the other hand i have heard a lot of student got thier scholarships before. So i will suggest you to go for it as it's a genuine examination.
