Your situation is a little dicey as whatever you have mentioned here makes your stance strong. Distance Education from any university per se should be valid and you had done it before the license of PTU was canceled.

But right now, the decision lies with the concerned authorities. Legally it should not be the case that your degree should stand invalid as it was back in 2012. But if it is done, kindly get in touch with UGC authorities or PTU authorities. They can offer the best help in this scenario.
