The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) is must for medical and dental courses but students who wish to take allied courses like veterinary sciences and horticulture also have to take the Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) on May 15.

The government clarified this in the wake of reports in a section of media that medical test of the EAMCET has become null and void in view of the Supreme Court judgment.

The EAMCET Convenor, N.V. Ramana Rao said that all the medical aspirants have to appear for the medical part of EAMCET from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. for entry into other medical courses like BAMS, BHMS, BNYS offered by various Universities.

The admission for BAMS & other Ayush courses will be through Andhra Pradesh counselling on the basis of NEET score.
