For getting admission in the course BSc (pass) Home Science, the basic eligibility criteria is -

Student must have passed senior school certificate examination that is 10+2 from recognized institution.

English is a compulsory subject. The three papers are from Science, Home Science, Commerce or Social Science streams.

For the purpose of merit preparation, one language (English) and three subjects (core/elective) from the stream mentioned above are taken into consideration for determining the eligibility.

There is BA in Home science, a 3-year course available for students who have belong to arts stream. BSc in home science is a similar course but you need to have science stream in class 11th and 12th for taking admission in that course.

You can opt for BA Home science. You should have scored minimum 50% marks in class 12th from a recognized board. Also, after you complete BA, you can opt for MA in home science for better career opportunities.
