For a student who is pursuing CA, I would recommend to go for Bachelor of Commerce rather than BA Hons in Economics. As BA hons in economics has majority in economics and mathematics in main subjects but not accounting, so if you are pursuing CA then you must go for the subject with accounting as major subject.

For your second question, No you cannot have economics as main subject with BA in psychology.
