BCA is a professional course for sure it gives you idea about computers, coding, web designing etc. Almost what Btech students learn in cse is there in BCA . But BCA colleges in our country is not that active like engineering colleges and thus most of the colleges lack good placements and this is the reason BCA is not as popular as engineering in CSE in india. After BCA you can go for MCA too or go for job after BCA immediately.
