BITS , Pilani is a private Institution with high fees , whereas IIT's are government institutions with less fees and greater opportunities to shine.
IIT's have way more better reputation than BITS. So if possible go with IITs . Packages of IITs are more than that of BITS. NIT's have similar packages to that of BITS , it may vary in some cases.

Birla Institute of Technical science Pilani as better Placement than some of the the lower Ranked National Institute of Technology, and other Institutions as well.

It also has a better than most of the NITs, and comparing the placement scenario of bits with that of IITs, it has pretty similar percentage ratio if you are in some of the good core branches.

BITS pilani campus is very good in placements and is comparable to some of the IIT's even bits pilani placements are good than IIT kanpur or IIT Kharagpur but IIT delhi,bombay is ahead of bits pilani in terms of placements.when it comes to decide good campus lot of other factors are to be considered like infrastructure,faculties etc.BITS pilani is good in CS branch.The main point is that you should choose stream according to your interest and you should focus on learning the skill of that stream.
