Hello!

Yes, CA, CFA and B.Com are good combination to become a portfolio manager.

In portfolio management, you need to have interest in detail and you must understand markets and finances well.

In order to become a portfolio manager in India, you must have either an UG degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics etc. or BBA, BBM, BBS, BMS, etc. or Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or MBA in Portfolio Management or Finance or Investment Banking etc.

Moreover, the subject combination depends on your interest too. For example, you can go for CA if you are interested in accounting. As compared to CA, MBA+CFA can be easier. You can get a lot of opportunities in both CA and MBA+CFA.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes
