Dear Sir/Ma'm, category rank and all india rank aren't the same. While All India rank is your overall rank based purely on your merit, the category rank is your rank among your category of students only i.e. general, scheduled caste, scheduled tribe or OBC students.

Category rank and AIQ is not same.

AIQ , ALL INDIA QUOTA means other state students are eligible for 15% reservation in a state.

Whereas, category ranks are reservation ranks eligible on the basis of caste and income LIKE OBC, SC , ST ETC
