Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder that's triggered when you eat gluten. It's also known as celiac sprue, nontropical sprue, or gluten-sensitive enteropathy. Gluten is a protein in wheat, barley, rye, and other grains.

Yes , Celiac disease comes under PWD. If your symptoms of celiac disease have lasted for a year or more and they have resulted in you being unable to work, then you might be eligible for Social Security disability (SSDI/SSD) benefits or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits.
