actually the cell phone is allowed in hostel why i am telling is becasue as your studying the engineerig the technology and smart phones are very much essential to the engineering student in which we should having the all the types of knownledage from all sources then only we click in our carrer 

and also the cell phone is used to check the updates of any higher studeis updates and also job alerts and even the furture guidence the carrer 360 is there no ...we should use the mobile phone in better way

but most of the college in the class room they will not allow but 100% all hostel allow the cell phones
