Thank you for the question, My personal advice will be not to follow so many boooks , complete one book in a very conceptual and depth way. HC verma contains good question higher  level question but if you are aiming for enginnering exam first complete ncert books cenggage is also good but complete the hole book, and try to learn shortcuts and tricks to solve problems in short time .

Still diffrent chapters are good in diffrent books.

MAths=RD Shrarma, calcular -IA maron,Higher Algebra -Hall and Knight. trigonometry and geometry by Sl loney,

physics= hc verma for concepts, fundamentals by halliday and parker and by rsnick.

chemistry= OP Tandon and AS Singh for concept based questions , organic chemistry by robert thornton morrison.

it depends on you how much practice u can do but if u want to score better than do hc verma and ncert many times it increase ur knowledge in a better way
