You are allotted a Central Caste Validity certificate when the Community you belong to is also listed in the Central OBC list. That is also valid for other State Counselling and State Counselling. Your Central Caste Validity Certificate is also eligible for appearing in MHT CET Counselling. This is because the Community you belong to at State level is also listed at Central level for Category benefits and hence you can use that Certificate.

Most of the caste certificates issued by the cenral government are valid in the states of india. There is an expection of a few castes as the list differs in the reservation list. This means if your category is one of the exceptions your central reservation certificate may not be valid in Maharashtra. You can get it cross checked in the DC office.
