Hi

Depends from college to college. Some premier governmet colleges like IISc , IITs, NITs ask for entrance test for B. Sc. It is called as JAM exam. And the admission to this colleges is based on score in JAM.

Whearas other state colleges and priviate colleges do not conduct exam they offer admission based on 12 std maks.
