Yes NMC has given Approval for Chikkaballapur medical college recently. Karnataka govt requested for 150 seats but NMC has given approval only for 100 seats.

According to the news from several sources, it was mentioned that NMC had denied permission for four colleges in Karnataka. Chikballapur is also among these four colleges. These four colleges are as follows, Chikkamagaluru, Haveri, Yadgir and Chikkaballapur.
