Samiksha, as of now, the last date to apply for CLAT 2020 is July 1st. And we still have few more days to go. And according to an official notice dated May 18th available at https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/documents/Notification-of-extension-CLAT-2020.pdf , the statement says that students will be given atleast 21 days prior notice for the exam schedule and this shall be announced atleast by July 1st which is the last day for registration. Now what needs to be considered here is CLAT UG eligibility is based on the marks secured in your 12th and at this point in time, CBSE is yet to take a call on whether to cancel the exams or just postpone them. And they have a hearing on June 25th, i.e. today. Most entrance examinations will have to change their method of calculating the eligibility criteria if CBSE exams are cancelled. So we have to wait to hear from CBSE first and then may be NLUs will take call on CLAT eligiblity criteria and then release a new date for the exam. As of now UGC has cancelled the UG exams which means CLAT PG criteria has to be recalculated. So we need to wait to hear from CBSE first and then from NLUs. To be honest, if the CBSE exams are cancelled, this might push NLUs also to postpone CLAT.

Hello Aspirant,

Due to an outbreak of Corona virus as a global pandemic all institutions were closed since month of March so all examinations and related activities were postponed till further notice.

As of now situations are becoming normal and moreover educational activities have been started gradually so any time dates for CLAT 2020 can be announced by the authorities. Till now they did not announced the dates for CLAT 2020 Examination on their official website.

So there is no chances of postponement untill they announce the dates.
