They work primarily in incorporating electronics and communications into any device they create. These professionals may be employed for financial, manufacturing, military, or science firms. ECE is probably one of the toughest engineering branches but it depends on you whether studying is difficult or easy. They need to know JAVA, C++, C and also Python. They have this languages in their syllabus.

in the first year you will be taught with c programming and later in coming year java too most probably.most of the institutions will teach computer language so dont worry.
