Firstly none of the engineering subjects are easy ,you need to work hard but

If you have good coding skills and you are interested in programming it's going to be easy for you. And some subjects are also logic based so if you are logic minded it's a plus point for you. And you need to very regular then only programming is going to interesting else it's not easy. 

It's basically interest based branch and need lots of hard work. If you are not understanding programming languages please don't take this branch of engineering.
