Yes definitely deemed engineering college is good for btech.
The main difference between an autonomous and deemed University is that seemed University is more free and flexible.
Deemed University is an institution with the name of the university.
Under a deemed University there is a single college only.
For deemed University you can make your own educational rules and policies.
Deemed Universities have a better placement record.
Under deemed University there has to be some research field also that should run under the university.
It has rights to carry it's own educational affair along with the examinations and syllabus.
These have a great infrastructure.
Overall it's a good one for btech

Not to forget as long as it provides good opportunities for placements, it will be better to choose such colleges or universities over the other. Make sure deemed university is a well-recognized one in India, as for further education you will require this.
