Dear student,.                                                                                                                                                                 As far as I know, dentists can wear a white coat and a stethoscope . white coat is necessary from the first day of your college.                                             You should be wearing an half sleeve white coat ( apron ) till your final year.                                You can use a stethoscope from your  third academic year. After clearing final year exams you have to do one year internship in your college itself.                                                                                             During your internship,you need to wear a full-sleeved white coat ( apron ) and even if you do PG you will have to wear a full sleeve apron all the time.                                                                                                                                                                                  Some of the PG departments have different kinds of uniform but after PG ,when you open your own clinic or when you will b working in any hospital you should wear an apron all the time.                                                                                                   There are 9 departments in dentistry, only wen you are doing PG in specific departments you will not b wearing an apron .                                                                                                                                         Whole your UG section you should wear an apron and even in PG in some particular departments.                                                                                                                  ALL THE BEST.

Dentists have to wear  scrub which consists of a half sleeve shirt and full sleeve pant and have to wear a stethoscope. Dentist have to wear stethoscope  due to more than one reasons. In case of dental surgery to major the heartbeat and pulse rate for which  is  measured by stethoscope.

it may be says say that BDS is a best career option in the in case of Medical Science early 600002 to 7 lacs per year if they get some suitable experience.
