Document verification is only done once and it is done when the candidate has been allotted a seat and the candidate accepts the seat in any round. If the candidate does not accept the allotted seat by paying seat acceptance fee, the seat is forfeited and the student is not allowed to participate in further rounds.

Which means, that once seat is allotted, you must participate in document verification and accept the seat, you can also exercise options like Slide, Float, Freeze for your accepted seat.
