If you are interested in core engineering, then Electrical engineering would definitely be a good career option for you. You can also do further MS in the electrical engineering and give your career an extra boost.

Apart from Electrical engineering, I would also suggest you Electronics and communication engineering, It is even better than the electrical engineering when comes to placements, however, this is also very tough branch acdemically.
