No, there's no compulsion for B.Ed applicants to give an entrance examination in all colleges,. however most do take a qualifying examination to judge the candidate's suitability for the program. And this entirely depends on the institution whether they wish to take an entrance exam.

Hello aspirant,

No, it's not required. Depending on the college or university, candidates can be admitted to BEd programs without taking an entrance exam.
The Bihar B.Ed. CET, UP B.Ed. JEE, MAH B.Ed. CET, TSEdCET, APEdCET, and others are a few of the widely recognized admission exams for 2025. To be eligible for admission to the BEd program, a student must have completed 10+2 in any subject from an accredited board with an overall grade point average of at least 50%.

Thank you

No, most government college or government college need you to crack entrance exam to join colleges but some private colleges don't need you to crack exam like lpu, amity etc, you apply for direct admission without giving any entrance exam

Hi,

Entrance exam is not required in all colleges to offer admission in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course. If you want to pursue B.Ed. course from government colleges then it is compulsory to appear in entrance exam and score good marks to secure a seat in government B.Ed. colleges. There are many private colleges that offers admission to its B.Ed. course without any entrance examination. They offer direct admission based on marks in previous studied course.

Some of the Top universities that offer direct admission to B.Ed course without entrance examination are:

  • Amity University
  • Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakpur University
  • Babu Banarasi Das University
  • Kurukshetra University
  • Glocal University

Hope this information will help you
