no exam is tough if you have the conceptional knowledge , time management , critical thinking and problem solving ability . the subject is all the same . all it differs is at the difficuilty level of the questions asked .

yes, compared to other normal exams the difficuilty level is higher in gate but that doesnt mean you cannot crack it .
