Firstly, no exam is tough if you do hardwork and dedicatedly prepare for it .But it is true that jee is based upon concepts so if you have a good hold over concepts then you can easily crack jee advanced while gate demands dedication and hardwork. Moreover, gate has 13 subjects so questions are not asked from the depth .
