Certificate from Google digital will show that you have studied the course and have knowledge about it. If you show it at any interview then they will ask question about the content.

you have to be prepared for it. So read in such a way that you will be understand the content and you can remember it in such a way that you can answer atleast the basic question. That will show that you have given effort for self-study.
