It is quite difficult to compare both the courses as JEE is an undergraduate program and GRE is a post graduate one.

GRE and JEE have different significance.
You're comparing two very different exams. The JEE looks to test a candidates ability in maths, physics and chemistry; which are the primary blocks in studying engineering.
On the other hand GRE tests your ability in verbal skills and written English along with quantitative reasoning and analytical writing.
GRE is for studying abroad whereas JEE is for admissions in India.
