Preparing for this book is good but when you are preparing for an entrance test  no book is sufficient. As HC Verma is for physics it is good to help with to stronger your concepts . But to prepare for the multiple choice questions I would suggest you to solved previous year question papers. There are many reference books that you can refer one I would suggest you to check for EAMCET physics Andhra Pradesh and Telangana chapterwise 26 years solution and 5 mock test Arihant publications.
