Hello,

Most b.sc Nursing students prefer to stay in the hostels provided by the college. There are ample and decent hostel facilities at each nursing college. RML and Safdarjung are among the best ones affiliated to GGSIPU. Nursing is a hectic course which involves study hours, practical laboratories as well as being on duty at the hospital branch. Students also have to be in shift duties, which can be in the morning, night or evening.

Travelling up and down from your home to any of the two colleges, even if it is in Delhi would be a difficult task in such situations. Staying in the hostel would save you both time and money. However, it is not compulsory.

All the best!
