If you are from lower economic background with income below 8 lakh per annum in general category then you might apply for EWS certificate as for national level exams there are 10% seats available for EWS category.

The EWS certificate is different from caste certificate hence you need to apply for it. You may apply it through your caste certificate or domicile certificate in which your caste will be mentioned.
